FOR EVERYONE!!
All Participants MUST register.

The Ride to Unite kicks off the Gateway Cup Saturday events at Francis Park in the St. Louis Hills neighborhood of south St. Louis.
This is a FREE event that unites cyclists with and without disabilities to show their cycling skills and demonstrate that cycling can be for everyone.
ADULT DEMONSTRATION RIDE: Starting at 10:00 AM, this ride takes adult cyclists (age 15 years and older), with and without disabilities, 4 laps around Francis Park’s closed race course. Each lap is 1.3 miles. Participants will include riders on adapted and standard bikes, and the Delta Gamma Center’s Tandem Adventurers Team. Celebrities and elite cyclists will lead the demonstration ride, including Barret Jackman of the St. Louis Blues, Kerri Morgan, U.S. Paralympic Hand Cyclist, and several elite cyclists competing in the Gateway Cup.
KIDS CHALLENGE: Starting at 10:30 AM, kids ages 8-11 years old will race the 1/6 mile course. Kids ages 12-14 years old will race the 1/4 mile course. The top three finishers in each age group will receive a medal. All participants will receive a ribbon.
PANCAKE BREAKFAST: We are kicking off the morning with a pancake breakfast near the race course at Nottingham CAJT High School. For $5 you can enjoy Chris’ Pancakes, bacon, juice and coffee before, during and after the Ride to Unite cycling demonstration. Breakfast will be served 9:30 to 11:30 AM. Join us for breakfast and a front row seat to the races.

We are concerned for everyone’s safety; therefore we encourage each cyclist to carefully decide whether it is safe to ride in the rain, based on your own cycling experience. In the event of rain, the Tandem Adventure Team should call the Delta Gamma Center’s events hotline early Saturday morning to learn whether the team will ride.
Watch for email updates as well! We appreciate every one’s participation in this event and we are still hoping for good weather!
For more information, please contact the Center at (314) 776-1300 or by e-mail at info@dgckids.org if you have any questions.
