Weight Lifting

For this 7-week program, participants will have a hands-on experience that will emphasize fitness, proper lifting technique, and safety.  Participants will learn exercises that target certain muscle groups by using free weights and machines, proper breathing techniques, and improve functional strength for balance, mobility, and injury prevention.

Children age 14-18 years will be inspired to meet challenges, and develop positive and healthy skills that can be used for a lifetime.  Certified trainers will provide one-on-one and group instruction in a non-intimidating atmosphere, allowing individuals to work on his or her own fitness goals and help others achieve their goals.
