GRADS Program Update: Fall Adventures at Queeny Park

As the season changes, so do the activities for our GRADS (Group Recreation and Developmental Support) program. This October, the GRADS kids enjoyed a day at Queeny Park, filled with outdoor activities that encouraged exploration and connection.

The day began with a hike along the park’s trails, giving participants the chance to spend time outdoors and engage with their peers. Following the hike, the group took part in a pumpkin carving activity, allowing for some creative expression and teamwork. The day wrapped up with a hayride through the park, offering everyone a chance to relax and take in the scenery.

These outings are designed not only to provide fun but also to support the development of social skills and encourage friendship-building in a natural setting. We’re grateful to the staff and volunteers who help make these experiences possible, contributing their time and energy to create meaningful opportunities for the children we serve.

We look forward to sharing more updates as the GRADS program continues its activities throughout the season.
